Frequently Asked Questions
Sunflower Festival FAQ
How long will the Sunflower Festival be open?
We are open on weekends from Mid August - Mid September.
Sunflowers only bloom for about 10 days on average, so our Sunflower Festival is not expected to last much beyond the first week or two of September. Of course, weather can bring it to a close a bit earlier or later so we will only be releasing tickets one week at a time.
How much is the cost?
Admission Costs are as follows (excluding tax):
$12.50 for Adults (13+)
$9.50 for children 4-12
$40 for Family Pass (2 adults, 2 children)
Kids under 3 are free.
$35 Professional Photographer Booking Fee (this includes admission)
Professional Photography
Space on walkways can be limited and for the benefit of all our attendees we need to maintain how many photoshoots we can accommodate at once. As such, there will only be a limited number of “Professional Photography” tickets sold per timeslot at a cost of $35 (available as a separate ticket type when booking). This cost includes the photographers admission.
Hours of operation?
We are only open on Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Mondays) from 10AM - 8PM.
What to wear?
Who doesn’t love a great photo op? Picture 6 feet high colourful sunflowers or even the greens of the corn to compliment your pictures. That being said you will be on a working farm and chances of getting dirty or stepping in some weeds are fairly high. Weather can be unpredictable so we want you to be as prepared as you can be.
We suggest:
Bringing a light jacket or sweater, even a sunny day can sometimes turn a bit windy.
Umbrella/Hoodie on a rainy day
Walking shoes/rainboots/gumboots, the walkways are dirt paths which can easily turn muddy. Please wear decent footwear.
Bathrooms?
Regularly serviced portable toilets will be available in the Parking Lot area.
Payment methods?
We will be able to sell tickets through Interact or Visa on site.
Do you provide refunds?
All tickets will be a final sale.
Can we bring dogs?
We love well behaved furry customers! If your dog fits that description then please bring them along, but remember to keep them on leash at all times!
What types of sunflowers can we expect to see?
This year we went with 23 unique sunflower varieties: Ring of Fire, Velvet Queen, Red Sun, Autumn Beauty, Mardi Gras, Teddy Bear and Lemon Queen and several others.
Will there be U-pick?
You will be able to pick your own sunflowers ranging from $1-$4 per stem. Please see front desk if you are interested. There will also be other pre-cut flowers and arrangements for purchase.
Can we bring food?
You can bring light snacks but please do not bring heavy lunches or dinners as there is limited seating at our picnic tables. We will also have indian street food and alcoholic beverages available on weekends at the farm as well.
Smoking?
No smoking on the property, please and thank you.

Dogs are only allowed in the Pumpkin Patch on leash. Please do not take your dog through the corn maze, we’ve had some run loose from their leashes and they can damage the corn and pose a safety risk to others.
